How do I upload a digital signature?

Applicants may create a digital signature using Adobe or other software that supports digital signatures, then upload the signed PDF to the GMS.

Does the GMS system log you out after inactivity?

Yes. For security purposes, the system will log you out after a period of inactivity. Please save your work frequently.

Can I save an incomplete task in the application module and resume later?

No and Yes! - Very important.
No, not in the organization registration module, you must complete this module and save your organization's information.
Yes, only in the application module. Please save your work as you work through the application module. When prompted, the GMS system will save your progress, and you may return later to continue.

Is there a helpdesk available? What are the hours of operation?

Yes. The Grants Division Helpdesk is available by email at PGCCOUNCILGRANTS@co.pg.md.us Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (excluding County holidays).

What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, request a password reset through the GMS login page. Please check your spam or junk email folder, as the reset email often directs there.

How do I register my organization?

Please register the organization under the Executive Director or the head of the organization. Once you begin registration and enter your organization’s information, you must complete the registration in that session. You cannot save and return later — the registration must be completed at once. Please gather all required information for registration prior to beginning the registration module.

Can I upload documents as pictures from my phone?

A: No. All required documents must be uploaded in PDF (Portable Document Format). Documents uploaded as PNG, JPEG, or other picture formats cannot be viewed in the system and should not be submitted. The PDF format preserves the integrity and layout of your documents and ensures they can be properly reviewed and processed.

Do I need a computer to complete this application?

A: Yes. It is strongly recommended that you use a computer—either a desktop or laptop—to complete your organization’s registration and to prepare and submit your grant application. This ensures full functionality of the Grants Management System and reduces the likelihood of technical issues.
